Indian Navy Recruitment 2024 – Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualifications :
  1. Indian Navy Recruitment 500 Agniveer (MR) : Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks from a Board of School Education recognized by Ministry of Education, Government of India.
  2. Indian Navy Recruitment 300 Agniveer (SSR) : Must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics from a Board of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Or
    Three year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) with 50% marks from a polytechnic institute recognized by Central, State and Union Territories. Or
    Pass with 50% marks in aggregate in two year professional course with non-professional subjects like Physics and Mathematics from the Board of Education recognized by Central, State and Union Territories.

Note: Candidates who have appeared in Class 10th Board Examination and are awaiting result declaration are also eligible to apply if they have fulfilled all other eligibility criteria. However, such candidates will be selected only on submission of original mark sheet during the second stage of the recruitment process (online copy of marksheet will not be accepted) Such candidates should be eligible to participate in the second stage with minimum prescribed marks in overall and individual subjects.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process :

Examination Fees :
Indian Navy Recruitment  : At the time of online application the candidate has to pay an examination fee of Rs.550/- (Rupees Five Hundred and Fifty Only) plus 18% GST to be paid online through Net Banking or Visa/Master/Rupee Credit/Debit Card/UPI. Only those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee will be issued the admit card for the examination.

Instructions For Examination:


Indian Navy Recruitment :

  1. Shortlisting :  Indian Navy Entrance Test – INET would be conduct for Shortlisting of candidates. Shortlisting would be based on marks obtained in the Indian Navy Entrance Test. Shortlisting will be carried out in state wise manner. The cut off marks for shortlisting for next stage of
    selection process may vary from state to state.
  2. Computer Based Examination :
    (a) The question paper will be computer based and will consist of 50 questions in total, each question will carry 01 marks.
    (b) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi and English) and objective type (multiple choice).
    (c) The question paper will have two sections namely ‘Science and Mathematics’ and General Awareness.
    (d) The level of the question paper will be of 10th standard. Exam Syllabus and Model Paper  Available at
    (c) The duration of the examination is 30 minutes.
    (f) Candidates should pass in aggregate in all sections.
    The Indian Navy reserves the right to determine the passing marks for each section and overall.
    (g) Penalty for wrong answer. Candidates should note that wrong answers will carry negative marks. There are four options to answer each question. For each question answered incorrectly by the candidate, one-fourth (0.25) marks will be deducted as penalty from the marks allotted to that question. (h) Central Allotment for INET (Online Examination) will be at the discretion of Indian Navy.


Indian Navy Recruitment :

  1. Candidates shortlisted in the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) will be issued a call letter for the second phase (PFT, written test and recruitment medical). The second phase will be conducted at designated centers of the Indian Navy. Syllabus for Second Phase Written Examination is available at Aadhaar card is mandatory for the second phase.
  2. Physical standards: Qualifying the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is mandatory for the exam. Applicants subject to PFT do so at their own risk. PFT Standards are as follows:-

      3. Recruitment Medical Examination : Recruitment medical test will be conducted for PFT qualified candidates. Candidates who qualify the recruitment medical examination will be considered for the merit list. Candidates found medically unfit in the recruitment medical examination are advised to appeal against its findings to the designated military hospital (assigned by the Indian Navy) within a maximum of 05 days. Medical fitness certificates issued by hospitals other than designated military hospitals (allotted by the Indian Navy) will not be considered. No further revision/appeal will be entertained.

      4. Merit list : Merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in Stage-II written test, subject to qualification in physical fitness test and recruitment medical test. Merit List (MR) for Agni Veer – Male and Female will be on All India basis. The results will be published on the candidate dashboard at

     5. Final Adjunctive Medicine : Final recruitment medical examination of all selected candidates will be       conducted at INS Chilka. Appointment of candidates is subject to passing the final medical examination,     candidates who do not pass the final recruitment medical examination will be rejected.

General Instructions :

Indian Navy Recruitment  : Applications should be filled online only at and all required documents should be scanned and uploaded. Following are the general guidelines regarding the recruitment process:-

(a) Indian Navy Recruitment  : Applicants should choose any three slots for Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) as per their convenience. For administrative reasons, candidates may be allotted a different seat. Candidate cannot change selection after selection or selection of examination center allotted by Indian Navy. The call letter and admit card for online examination indicating the date, time and venue should be downloaded from the website one week prior to the online examination.

— INET will be held in June/July 2024. The exact date will be mentioned in the call letters issued to the candidates.

(b) Call letter and admit card for PFT, written test and recruitment medical examination should be downloaded from the registration portal: Call letter and admit card will not be sent by post.

(c) Only electronic mode of communication will be used while contacting candidates and no documents will be sent by post at any stage of recruitment.

(d) Original documents uploaded by the candidates while filling the application online like original certificates, mark sheets, placement certificate and NCC certificate (if any) required for all stages of recruitment (Written Test, PFT and Recruitment Medical Test). INS Silka).

— Original documents will be verified at every stage of recruitment. If the particulars given in the ‘Online Application’ do not match with the original documents at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled.

Important information :

Indian Navy Recruitment  : (a) Mobile phones or any other communication device will not be allowed in the examination premises. Violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action including debarment from future examinations.

(b) Candidates are strongly advised to apply online in time without waiting for the last date of submission of online application.

(c) No candidate shall engage in any misconduct or irregularity in the examination premises. If he does, he will be disqualified.

(d) While filling his/her online application form, the candidate should carefully decide the venue of the examination.

(c) Candidates should avoid submitting more than one application. If more than one application is received from a candidate, his/her candidature will be cancelled.

(f) The decision of the Indian Navy as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at each stage of recruitment shall be final.

(g) False information regarding residence certificate will invalidate the candidature at any stage during recruitment, training and thereafter.

(h) Candidates will be given 03 days after the closing of the application window to make corrections in the details submitted during the application process. No revisions/amendments will be made after this.

(h) Verification of documents including NCC certificate and photograph will be done during the application process. Candidates who declare fake documents and/or false details will be disqualified.
