NIA Pune Recruitment  : Eligibility:

•  Graduation/Masters in any general discipline in Management, Engineering, Law, Agriculture, Horticulture.
• Associate/Fellowship from Insurance Institute of India or equivalent.

Career/Work Experience:

GIPSA Companies, AICIL, GIC Re or Private Insurance Minimum 25 years of work experience in organizations and functional area and Or should have worked in technology sector and private insurance Scale V, VI or VII in institutions Cadre or retired from similar posts.

Interest/Attributes:

• Interest and demonstrated evidence in training/teaching/research/ and project works.
• Candidates must have a flair for Academic work.

Eligibility :

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Electrical field.
• B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized
  University / Institute.

Probation:

NIA Pune Recruitment  : Probation period will be 1 year which can be extended for one more year if performance is not found satisfactory.

Indicative Responsibilities (not exhaustive):

•  Proven track record of handling projects / works in reputed organizations.
• Experience in operation and maintenance of HT Panels, transformers, batteries and battery
  chargers, L.T. Panels, APFCR Panels, D.G. sets with A.M.F. Panels, underground power and
  telephone cable network, air-conditioning installations, UPS, EPABX, Solar water heating
  system, STP and Pump house equipment. etc.
• Planning designing, estimation and execution of electrical and HVAC works.
• Liaise with designated authorities / offices.
• Should have good knowledge in contract management, hands-on experience of MS Office and
  relevant software. Good written and communication skills are expected. Preference will be
  given to candidates having work experience with PSUs, Government organizations / Banks,
  Educational Institute. Proficiency in local language will be preferred.
• Any other role and responsibility that may be assigned by competent authority from time to time.

Eligibility :

NIA Pune Recruitment  : Master’s degree or equivalent professional degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with minimum first class or equivalent and continuing good academic record with knowledge of modern digital libraries.

Desirable Qualifications :

• Passing the National Level Examination conducted by the UGC or any other equivalent examination recognized by the UGC for the purpose.
• Knowledge of library software and open source software required.

Experience :

• Minimum 10 years experience in similar cadre.
• Experience working in an Institutional Library is preferred.

Probation :

NIA Pune Recruitment  : Probation period will be for one year and may be extended by one year if work performance is not satisfactory.

Indicative responsibilities (not exhaustive):

• Management of library operations.
• Implementation of library committee decisions.
• Monitoring and supervision of library processes.
• Supervision/coordination of team members.
• Providing resources for coaching and PGDM classes.
• Performance review of library management software.
• Main activities of the academy like training, research, publications etc., and providing counseling assistance.

Eligibility and Experience :

• A PhD in a relevant field of study is mandatory, first class in Masters or equivalent (based on grades etc.), with continued good academic record.
• At least three years teaching/research/industrial experience after Ph.D.
• Candidates from Industry (Government/Public Sector/Research Institute) having at least 3 years relevant experience at Assistant Professor level and meeting the requirements mentioned above may also apply.
• At least 2 research papers in “B Category Journals” or at least 1 Research Paper in “A Category Journals” in relevant field.

Indicative Responsibilities (not exhaustive):

• NIA Pune Recruitment  : The employee will be required to undertake training, research, consultancy, education and
  any other activities of National Insurance Academy as may be required in furtherance of the
  objectives of the Academy, which also runs Post Graduate Diploma in Management.
• Any other role and responsibility as may be assigned by the competent authority from time
  to time.
